Bread is eaten by many people in different countries and tribes. Even if you start a bakery in the core hinterland, in the bush, anywhere and it's a quality bread, people will come for it.


Following  are the three steps you should take to make a big breakthrough in staring and running your bakery.


1. INVEST IN RECIPES AND EQUIPMENTS: You don't start a bakery with the wrong equipments. A woman came to my live class from Ibadan after buying and starting with a wrong mixer for her bread as she was getting the wrong bread production. Your equipment  defines your bread texture. You need to take the right step to get it right in this. You don't need to break the bank to get the right and affordable bread baking equipments. You can start a lucrative bread business from home and grow.


2. SPECIAL PREMIUM RECIPE: I receive messages like my bread is hard, it did not rise, I am tired as my customers are complaining, my bread doesn't give me profit. My bread spoils fast, my bread smell alcoholic, my bread is not elastic, it does not draw, my bread is very light and not heavy. My dear, you must take this step very serious. Forget about every other aspect. Invest heavily in getting  PREMIUM BREAD RECIPES. I know of a woman who bought over a bakery from someone who was travelling out to Canada for N4,000,000.00(Four Million Naira) or 64,000,000 Ghana Cedis and neglected investing in recipes. She launched her business with her brand name and flooded her bread in her community. The bread gets spoiled after one day of baking. People kept returning bought loaves and her business collapsed. This was due to wrong or substandard Recipes. Get mentors and expert's advice. Don't believe you know it. Buy Videos, books and Courses to learn and apply. Bread baking is  science and art. There are swift competition now. 

You should understand that not all water is used for bread baking. But most people just fetch water from well, boreholes, tap water and start mixing for bread. Some don't understand the relationship between yeast and salt in bread baking.
