HERE ARE TYPES OF BAKERS AND WHAT IS THE DUTY OF A BAKER IN A BAKERY


You know most people do not know who a Baker is and what a Baker's duty should be.

So today I am explaining who a Baker is.

There are basically two types of bakers if you want to become one.

1. Commercial Bakers: This is a baker who work in high volume facilities to produce bread, cake, pastry etc and are called Pastry Chefs. You can specialize.

Here is a baker with no time for experiment but is expected to follow strict rules to make bread. Commercial Bakers uses Fabricated Ovens, Deck Ovens and Rack ovens.

2. Retail Bakers: A retail baker is one who bake in small shops, local shops and are called local bakers or retail bakers.

WHAT ARE THE REAL DUTIES OF A BAKER

1. Check and make sure the Ingredients are all of high quality.

2. Keep and maintain equipments at all time

3. Scale all ingredients to standard measurement 

3. Mix all ingredients with standard process for quality production. 

4. Cut and shape dough

5. Transfer dough into Baki g pans and trays 

6. Make sure oven temperature is set to standard baking and transfer dough into oven to bake 

7. Make sure bread is fully baked.
