Braided Almond-Herb Bread
Ingredients
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry
yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup warm water (105 degrees
to 115 degrees)
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm milk (110 to 115
degrees F)
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour,
divided
1 teaspoon dried rosemary,
crushed
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram,
crushed
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds,
toasted, divided
1 egg, beaten

How To Make Yummy Tomato-Cheese Bread Snack
If you love cheese, then this is your time to try this yummy recipe. More so, having tomatoes in your bread and serving it as snack or with grilled meats has a lot of food advantages.

They provide relief from diabetes, skin problems, and urinary tract infections, improvement of digestive systems, blood circulation stimulation, cholesterol level improvement, kidney protection and body detoxification, premature ageing etc
Let us look at how to make a yummy tomato cheese bread
Ingredients
2 cups biscuit/baking mix
2/3 cup milk
3 medium tomatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano Paprika
Direction:
In a bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk just until moistened.
Turn onto a floured surface; knead 10-12 times.
Press onto the bottom and 1 in. up the sides of a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Arrange tomato slices over top.
In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender; remove from the heat. Stir in the cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and oregano. Spoon over tomatoes.
Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or
until browned. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve warm.
Refrigerate leftovers.

2 1/2 (.25 ounce) packages active
dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups warm water (110 degrees
F/45 degrees C)
1 tablespoon cornmeal
1 egg white
1 tablespoon water

Directions
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast and salt.
Stir in 2 cups warm water, and beat
until well blended using a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment. Using a
wooden spoon, stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can.
