How to make delicious rock buns for business

If you see those guys pushing yogurt cart on the street, you are likely to see them sell both spring rolls and rock buns. There is real money in this business of rock burns production from home, even as weekend income or extra income. 

Even if you are gainfully employed, you could make rock buns and give it to the guys selling yogurt on the street. You could product 300 pieces of this a day on a small scale at N100, CH1 or $.3 and give it out to sellers on daily basis adding their commission.

In this write up, I am going to explain how you can make it.
Let me also state that you can use it as your own second or complementary item to sell your ice cream if you are making ice cream too.  


4 cups Self raising flour
1 cup Sugar
1/4 pint Milk
2 Tablespoon Margarine
3 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Cinamon / nut meg
3 Tablespoons Sultanas / Raisins

Direction or Method:

Pour  flour into your mixing bowl

Add sugar,  margarine, cinnamon or nut meg

Rub all in evenly

Add the raisins or sultanas

Add the egg and using the finger tips, mix them .

Add milk gradually and mix. Add till you have consistency where it is not too soft and not hard.

With spoon and fork, divide the dough into rocky cones, transfer to a baking tray you have greased and then sprinkle a little flour on the tray. 

Preheat oven for 10 minutes on 200C / 400F /Gas Mark 6,  take the tray of rock buns into the preheated oven and bake for 15- 20 min. Allow to cool and serve or distribute.
